We’re not your typical shop. We’re an award-winning garage, voted Best Auto Service Center in the PNW, and we’ve built a clean, organized, high-end DIY experience. Now we’re looking for someone who can help us maintain and raise that standard.
Position: Shop Associate / Customer Support
What You’ll Do:
- Greet customers and get them checked into their bays
- Walk customers through lift operation and shop safety
- Help customers locate and properly use tools
- Keep the shop clean, organized, and running efficiently
- Reset bays between customers (tools, cleanliness, etc.)
- Wipe down workstations between customers
- Run floor scrubber in each bay when needed
- Assist customers when they need an extra set of hands
- Monitor shop activity and ensure safety standards are followed
- Answer phone calls, take reservations, and assist walk-ins
- Check and empty oil drains at each station when needed
- Membership sales
- Keep the shop and lounge clean, organized and running effciently
- Basic photography and videography for our social media platforms
- Keep bathrooms clean and stocked
- Keep beverage fridge stocked
What We’re Looking For:
- Basic automotive knowledge (you don’t need to be a master tech, but you need to know your way around a car)
- 21+ with a valid driver license
- Clean driving record
- Ability to pass a background check
- Strong customer service skills
- Positive attitude and willingness to help
- Reliable, punctual, and accountable
- Ability to work weekends (we are a retail business)
- Comfortable being on your feet and staying active
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Bonus (Not Required, But Helps):
- Experience working in a shop or automotive environment
- Familiarity with tools, lifts, and basic maintenance
- Passion for cars, motorsports, or DIY projects
- Knowledge about racing sims

Dedicated Service Bay – Terms & Conditions
- $2,995/month
- Month-to-month rental. No long-term contract required.
- Monthly payment is due in advance.
- One (1) designated outdoor vehicle storage space is included.
- Commercial use is permitted.
- Businesses must provide proof of Business License, General Liability Insurance and Garage Keepers Insurance before occupancy and maintain coverage throughout the rental period.
- Business rentals are limited to one (1) operator. Additional employees, technicians, or subcontractors are not permitted without prior written approval from Openbay Garage.
- Renters are responsible for all work performed and any services provided to their customers.
- Businesses must clearly communicate to their customers that they are independent businesses and are not affiliated with, employed by, or representing Openbay Garage.
- Renters must keep their assigned bay, workstation, tools, and surrounding area clean and organized at all times. Failure to maintain a clean workspace may result in cleaning fees or termination of the rental agreement.
- All renters must comply with Openbay Garage’s shop rules, safety policies, and operating procedures at all times. Failure to do so may result in suspension or termination of the rental agreement.
- No bodywork, painting, welding, or other hazardous operations are permitted unless expressly approved by Openbay Garage.
- Openbay Garage reserves the right to inspect the bay and workstation to ensure compliance with shop policies and safety standards.
- Additional terms, rules, and eligibility requirements apply.
- Openbay Garage reserves the right to deny, suspend, or terminate any rental agreement for violations of these terms or shop policies.
Openbay Garage reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time.
Non-Payment
Monthly rental fees are due in full before the start of each rental period. Failure to make payment by the due date may result in immediate suspension or termination of the rental agreement, removal of access privileges, and removal of any vehicles, tools, parts, or personal property from the assigned bay at the renter’s expense. Openbay Garage reserves the right to pursue collection of any unpaid balances and applicable fees as permitted by law.
